He Did It !!!! :)

Well, Beau finally made it. He graduated last night from Liberty High School. It is really funny that they have the same colors as I did and Jeff did when we graduated, all three from different high schools. Beau is excited to be graduated and is looking forward to finding a job in the near future and going to school in the fall at LMC. He will be working on his Paramedic/Firefighter Degree. We are so proud of him!

Where has the time gone?

Well, time has went by so quickly since my last entry.
Beau graduates on June 5th and turns 18 on May 18th and Jacob will be 2 on May 18th also. I am getting nervious for everything to be happening so quickly. Beau wants to stick around and go to the local community college to get his Associates in Fire Science and work as a Firefighter but he is talking about moving in with some of his buddies after graduation. I am hoping that will change and he will want to stay with us for a while longer. I am sad to see my baby grow up.

We had a visit from LaDawna and her kids and Mom over Spring Break and really enjoyed that.
We have all been sick. Jacob had Pneumonia and is getting over that this weekend. Thank goodness for Strong Antibiotics and great doctors catching it early on.

Kindermusik

Miss Jane came to Joyful Preschool for music class. We are looking for a new music teacher because this one is way too busy and can't find the time to fit us into her schedule.

Beau's Injury

Beau had a snowboarding accident over Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend. He broke his right hand, left shoulder and separated his left shoulder. We saw the orthopedic surgeon today and it doesn't look like he is going to need surgery. Thank Goodness. He is still pretty sore and will have 5-8 weeks of recouporating. Maybe he will get to the Slush Cup in March.

Ice Skating

We went ice skating over Christmas break and had a ton of fun. Emma went for the first time and some of Beau's friends went with us to for FHE. They have an ice rink in town at the new shopping center. It was a great way to spend Family Night.

Bolt 3D

We all went to the movies to see Bolt in 3D. It was the kids first time, and come to think of it, my first time seeing a 3D movie. It was so much fun. We went to the new theatre in town. It was great!

Christmas and New Year

Merry Christmas, the kids had so much fun this Christmas. We definetly kept the Lord in sight and enjoyed Christmas even more.

The kids got a Wii from Santa and we have been enjoying playing Guitar Hero and Mario Party 8 and all that. I have to admit I suck at all of it. My video playing games are numbered I think.

Beau keeps joking that I will put all the kids down for a nap and be playing guitar hero all afternoon.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a happy and safe New Year. I hope that 2009 will be a great year for all, including us!!!!!!!
